    Strong, Steady, Independent

In-Home Senior Fitness, On Your Terms

The single biggest predictor of staying independent into your 80s and 90s is leg strength and balance. Both are completely trainable — at any age, from any starting point. I train seniors right in their living room or driveway, gentle on the joints, serious on the results.

NASM certified, patient, and used to working with all kinds of bodies and histories. If you can stand, we can train.

    Who is this for?

Anyone in the Chico area who wants senior fitness without the friction of a commercial gym — beginners welcome, experienced lifters too.

    What does it solve?

Keep your parent strong, independent, and safe — at home. I bring every piece of equipment to your driveway, garage, or backyard so consistency stops being the hard part.

    When should I call?

When you're ready to start — the consult is free and 15 minutes. Call (530) 781-3961 or book online.

    What we focus on

    • Leg strength — the difference between getting up from the toilet on your own and not.
    • Balance — fall prevention is the goal, and it works.
    • Posture — easier breathing, less back pain, looking like yourself again.
    • Bone density — loaded movement is the best defense against osteoporosis.
    • Confidence — to get back to walks, gardening, grandkids, travel.

In your home — that's the point

No driving, no parking, no gym intimidation. I bring everything to your living room, garage, or patio. You don't even have to change shoes. We train 45 or 60 minutes, twice a week is usually plenty, and you stay in your own space the whole time.

Worried about joints, surgeries, or balance?

That's exactly who this is for. I work around knees, hips, shoulders, backs, joint replacements, recent surgeries — the whole list. We start where you are, communicate constantly, and never push into pain. If you're working with a PT or doctor, I coordinate with them.

For adult children booking for a parent

A lot of my senior clients come to me because their grown kids set it up. That's totally fine — call me, we'll talk through your parent's situation, and I'll meet them on their terms. The free consult is the easiest first step.

    Frequently Asked Questions

I haven't exercised in 20 years — is it too late?

Not even close. The research is overwhelming — strength can be built into your 80s and 90s. The body responds at every age. We just start gentle.

What if I have a hip or knee replacement?

Common, and we work around it. I'll coordinate with your surgeon or PT if you're recently post-op. Many of my senior clients have had one or both done.

How often do we need to train?

Twice a week is the sweet spot. Once is better than nothing. Three is great if you're up for it.

What does a session look like?

Easy warm-up, balance work, some light strength training (often with bands, light dumbbells, or body weight), and a cool-down. About 45 or 60 minutes.

    Can my spouse join?

Absolutely. Couples training is a great way to keep each other accountable and split the cost.
